Exploring Luangprabang villages and peoples by trekking in small villages of this city…

Day 1:

Luang Prabang, start trekking
Cross the Mekong River to Ban Xieng Man village visit of temples and walking 2.30 hours through the different plantation area to Ban CHANE, the village of the poteries production. Continuation walking 4 hours to Ban PAK LUNG village. Visit of the cave. Night at PAK LUNG village.

Day 2:

Trekking.
Cross the Mekong River by boat 01 hour from PAK LUNG village to Ban SING, visit of Lao cultural and traditional temple. It  was  built  in 1612. Continuation to Ban TAPEIN and KUANG SI water fall. Continuing from KHUANG SI waterfall to Ban Long Lao, lunch on the way. Night at LONG LAO village.

Day 3:

Trekking at Ban Long Lao surrounding.
Continuing  to see and visit minorities villages around Long Lao village. Returning to Luang Prabang.


 

Elephant trekking in North of Laos

Day 1: Meeting with Khongisland staff at Houixay border then on slow boat cruise on the Mekong river to Pak Beng small village, night at simple guesthouse.

Day 2: From Pakbeng continue to  Hong Sa district via Tha Soang village, visit and night at simple guesthouse.
Day 3: Hong SA, enjoying the beautiful area view and elephant riding trek trip.
Day 4: From Hong Sa to Tha Soang via Pak Ou cave - Luang Prabang, travelling by boat, night at hotel in Luang Prabang.
Day 5: Luang Prabang, full day sightseeing the city called World Heritage by Unesco.
Day 6: Luang Prabang flight to Vientiane, city tour visit of the main site in Capital of Laos.
Day 7: Vientiane transfer to the airport for departure.

 

Trekking on the mountain of Khong island

This trek will takes for 4 – 5 hours; having picnic lunch on the local restaurant with advice by local guide.

Starting from Phaphoukiew caves continue to mount point 230m where you will be exploring the beautiful view of villager’s plantations and their living life… continue to Phou Tham Mea and Phou Nak stop for lunch – along the way through paddy fields, traditional villages and secondary forests, stop and enjoy to eat the fresh fruits on the way. Continue to Phou Deunwat and Van Eleung which are the final points of our trek…
